What’s it like to attend Mid-America College? Sure, you’ll spend time in lecture halls, the library, and hanging out in our newly renovated Student Center. You’ll love our state-of-the-art campus. But you’ll live to go beyond. For starters, our Practical Missions program lets you out into the community, serving people and developing leadership skills. Our Chapel services will take you around the globe, as a steady stream of missionaries and pastors from across the nation and around the world take you to places you’ll love to discover. And then there’s Memphis!
Life in Memphis has a special flavor. Memphis is recognized worldwide for Graceland, the blues, the Civil Rights movement, and, of course, Memphis-style ribs. There is no shortage of entertainment in the city, which is home to professional basketball and baseball teams and the University of Memphis Tigers, not to mention an active, world-famous music scene.
Life at Mid-America offers you more than the “full college experience.” It’s more than just “student life,” it’s a taste of all the good things you can enjoy as you gain an outstanding education—inside and outside the classroom.
Library and Bookstore
The Ora Byram Allison Memorial Library is much more than its expansive 200,000-volume collection. It is a comprehensive educational resource that includes a virtually endless array of materials and services. Plus, discover our on-campus bookstore and online merch and apparel store.
MEMPHIS
Situated just outside Memphis, Mid-America College sits in the heart of America, a city so centrally located it's known as America's Distribution Center. It's a crossroads for rhythm & blues, barbecue and world cuisine, history and technology. There's never a shortage of things to do and places to see. It's a great place to learn, grow, and discover.
STUDENT HOUSING
Located immediately adjacent to the main campus, Mid-America Student Housing, or The Village, as it's called, is convenient, safe, secure, and a cut above the typical dorm-type accommodations. It's a great place to meet new friends, study, and stay close to the campus library, gym, and other amenities. It's also located in a great area of town, close to shopping, restaurants, and employment options.
PRACTICAL MISSIONS PROGRAM
The Practical Missions program offers you real-world experience through various community service projects. You'll develop leadership abilities as you give of yourself to help others.
CHAPEL
Held each Tuesday and Thursday, Mid-America Chapel is a refreshing time of worship and recharging, as a steady stream of speakers from the Mid-America community and from across the globe bring inspiring messages.
OUR CAMPUS
Located in Memphis, Tennessee, our campus is both beautiful and state-of-the-art. The campus includes convenient student housing and amenities, such as our gym, fitness center, cafeteria, bookstore, and much more.
STUDENT FELLOWSHIPS
A number of organizations on campus serve to help students make connections within the larger student body. These groups plan events throughout the year to foster community and fellowship.
