JOIN THE WINNING TEAM

Mid-America Athletics exists to promote community, wellness, and friendly competition as an integral part of student life. Our program offers a variety of intramural, recreational, and fitness-oriented opportunities designed to fit naturally into the academic rhythm of the semester. Whether students are looking for structured competition or casual play, Athletics provides fun-filled ways to stay active and connected.

Weekly intramural activities are a cornerstone of the program. Students currently gather for pickleball on Tuesdays after class (2:45–4:45 p.m.) with plans to begin volleyball soon. Since relocating to the Arlington campus, Mid-America has partnered with Club Mi So, a local gym that provides space and equipment for pickleball, basketball, and volleyball, expanding both flexibility and variety for student-athletes.

In addition to weekly play, the Athletics program hosts multiple tournaments throughout the semester, creating opportunities for broader participation and campus-wide engagement. These tournaments emphasize sportsmanship and fun while still offering a competitive edge. Offerings include pickleball, basketball, cornhole, and ping pong, allowing students with diverse interests and skill levels to participate.
